At Alexandra Infant School we follow the EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum to ensure coverage of knowledge and skills.

KS1 ProvisionAs a fully inclusive Rights Respecting school, we are passionate about each individual child’s achievement and progress, both personally and academically. We want  to engage and inspire our children through our creative and purposeful curriculum which has our children at the centre and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Through an ambitious balance of skills and knowledge, our curriculum celebrates differences and develops our school ethos and core values. The curriculum reflects the needs of our children and our local community which encompass life skills and wider global issues. There is also an emphasis on mindfulness and well-being which supports and develops the whole child and enables all of our children to succeed.
