Alexandra Adventurers After School Club 

We are excited to announce that Alexandra Adventurers, our After School Care Provision will be opening in October 2024.  Our aim is to provide high quality after school care for children that attend Alexandra Infant School.  This will be managed by our internal team.

Alexandra Adventurers will operate in the main school hall and playground; weather permitting.  The children will have the opportunity to socialise with children across the school, play games, engage in physical activities, have access to a variety of toys and games, including board games, role play, arts and crafts and construction.

We want the children to have fun in a safe, caring environment where they can socialise with their peers as well as spending time participating in activities that interest them.  Tea will be served to children at approximately 3.30pm for those attending the after-school club.  The school’s caterer, Harrisons, will provide our food.  Please see below for a menu of the provision on offer.  Please ensure that any allergies or specific dietary requirements are detailed on the registration form.

The Alexandra Adventurers hours of operation and prices are:

*School operates half days (morning only) on the last day of each term so Alexandra Adventurers will not operate on those days.

Please ensure you have completed details of any medical conditions on the Registration Form.

Please note that places at the club will be allocated in the following priority order:

• Siblings of children already attending Alexandra Adventurers
• Siblings of children who currently attend MyTime Active Club at Alexandra Junior School
• Children already attending Alexandra Adventurers requiring additional days
• All other applications received will be processed and places allocated in the order in which they are received.  

Places at Alexandra Adventurers are limited, and we would recommend booking early.  Confirmation of a place will only be given upon receipt of the above forms.  Once confirmation is given, you will be sent an invoice half-termly.

Payments

Invoices are issued on a half termly basis and payable in full.  The invoice must be paid by the date on the invoice to guarantee your child’s place in the club.  Failure to make payment may result in your place being allocated to another child on the waiting list.  If you are unable to make full payment in advance, please contact the club administrator to discuss this.

We are registered with the HMRC tax free childcare scheme and accept Childcare vouchers from the following providers:

If your employer uses a difference childcare voucher provider, please specify this on your registration form or contact adventurers@ais.nestschools.org  The club falls under the school’s Ofsted registration; however the club has separate contact details and its own management structure.  The club also maintains its own registration procedure and documentation.

Breakfast Club

Children that attend Alexandra Infant School can attend MyTime Active Breakfast Club based at Alexandra Junior School.  There is a walking bus to transport children from Alexandra Junior School to Alexandra Infant School.  Please visit the MyTime website for further details.
