Uniform

At Alexandra Infant School our school uniform is smart and practical for our children. It promotes a sense of belonging and identity and creates a fair and inclusive environment for all children.

At Alexandra Infant School we have tried to keep the cost of school uniform to a minimum and so it is only the school jumper or cardigan that has the school logo on to keep costs down for families.

We operate a gender-neutral uniform policy and we ask that all children have the following items:

The school colours are red, grey and white. We like children to wear clothes that they can manage themselves. Please make sure that your child wears sensible shoes for school (no trainers except on PE days). They need to be able to fasten them themselves

School uniform items can be purchased via the school office.

Uniform Policy and Prices

Preloved Uniform

Preloved uniform can benefit all parents, particularly those on low incomes. In addition, by extending the life of garments, it is a more sustainable option that supports the environment. Uniform is generously donated to school by parents who no longer require it. This act of kindness ensures that other families benefit. We are grateful to the PTA who organise opportunities throughout the year to acquire preloved school uniform
