The Local Committee

Alexandra Infant School are part of the Nexus Education Schools Trust (NEST). The day to day governance of our school is carried out by the Local Committee.

The key responsibilities of the Local Committee are:

  • To carry forward the vision of the school and NEST
  • To take a strategic role in the governance of the school 
  • To understand the work of the school in order to facilitate meaningful discussion in relation to: achievement, curriculum and standards; inclusion and wellbeing; safeguarding; and provision and resources
